Stride and Ride - aims to increase active transport.

Walking and riding are great ways to increase physical activity as well as reduce traffic congestion and promote a healthier environment.

Meeting the criteria:

Primary schools

To meet this criterion, all students need to have access to or are encouraged to participate in an age-appropriate activity to promote safe walking or riding as a form of transport, at least once each term.

Early childhood services

To meet this criterion, Early Childhood Services need to provide age appropriate walking, riding and road safety opportunities for children as part of the regular service curriculum.
