Sharing, eating and enjoying Easter eggs can be an important part of Easter celebrations.

If your school chooses to share chocolates, it is a great chance to role model to students how all foods can be enjoyed as part of our overall diet.  If Easter eggs are included alongside other fun activities such as games or crafts children will learn these are just one part of festivities.

Other activities you could enjoy:

• Have children paint rocks with Easter designs and hide them in the school grounds for a scavenger hunt
• Have a class competition of pin the tail on the bunny
• Make salt dough easter decorations to hang around the classroom or to take home
• Enjoy hot cross buns as part of a school fundraiser or through the canteen.
