Printable PDF version

We’d like to invite you to participate in Australia’s annual Neighbour Day, which encourages connection among those living in their neighbourhood.

Neighbour Day is celebrated on the last Sunday in March each year but events can be held on any day within a couple of weeks of 25 March 2018.

Your event can be as simple or as wide-reaching as you like!

The Neighbour Day website has posters, postcards, invitations and social media content.

Partnering with other community organisations is strongly recommended.

The DHHS is working collaboratively with  Libraries Tasmania to support challenge activites around the state.

Contact your council, local government community development officer, regional LINCs, Neighbourhood House, Child and Family Centre and other service providers as they may be planning a Neighbour Day event.

The Healthy Tasmania Challenge promotes everyday healthy activities
and provides programs and incentives to encourage participation.
